Queen Street Barbershop was founded by Hayden Mingus in 2019. What began as a vision that stemmed from an inspiring visit to the West Coast, Hayden came home and set to work on what is now the inviting, laid-back, and creative space that is Queen Street Barbershop. Focusing on the complete barbershop experience from the conversations, hot towel neck shaves, and the feeling of belonging somewhere — each client that enters Queen Street leaves a friend.

Yes. We offer kids’ cuts at both our Wilmington and Surf City shops. Choose Kids Cut in the booking widget to see the barbers and openings available at your preferred location.
Yes. Both shops offer Sunday appointments. Current openings and available barbers are always shown in the booking widget.
Yes. Beard trims and hot shaves are available. Services can vary by barber, so the booking widget will show which barbers currently offer the service you select.

Parking is free and easy. You can park in front of the shop or use available street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
